Because most of our folks live here on an independent basis, our offerings of “things to do” are less about keeping busy and more a matter of life enrichment. My job as Director of Activities has many facets. Considering the ideas and interests of our residents, I work to develop a rich variety of possibilities to enhance each day. Of course, participation is strictly voluntary.
We have frequent and varied off-site excursions, many of which are suggested by those who live here. Fellowship with others is a side benefit of all that we do…exercise classes, musical performances, service projects, our Merry Musicmakers singing group, arts and crafts, book reviews, fashion shows, travel and slide shows, gardening and worship services.
So much is available right here in our community…regardless of the weather! Whether it’s an informative lecture or trying your luck with a new game, Activities can be meaningful and engaging or just plain fun. Really the sky is the limit!
